Growing up, my dad ran a one-of-a-kind operation — a physical kite store, a mobile setup that brought the experience directly to you, a wind garden where people could actually feel what flight feels like, and a Kites in the Classroom program that put that sense of wonder into schools. It wasn't just a store. It was a mission.

I grew up in the middle of all of it — helping set up, breaking things down, watching people light up when a kite caught the wind for the first time. That environment gave me two things: a deep respect for quality gear and a fierce love of gadgets, tools, and anything built to perform.
